Blast from the past; SB IX

See the PPEs dominate in the Steelers first possession, hear and see some of the old-times.
I remember how excited I was watching this game.
Fun to watch, interesting to see the commercials about 'color tv'. lol

What's kinda depressing here is I was watching it when it was played the first time.....on my Black and White TV.

    Cheers!

I am thinking my parents should have splurged for the big 25", I had to watch the game on our standard 19". I barely remember it though, I was just 7. We do have some Super 8 film of a Super Bowl get together with the game on in the background, so I know for sure I watched it, I think.

    Thanks Prophet!
What got me was that Fran was 1st in the NFL with 2598 yards passing! The passing game has sure evolved.

Some good (and not so good) memories with that one...thanks Prophet. Our D played well enough to win, unfortunately the offense couldn't get started. If I remember correctly, we got under 20 yards rushing...and the Steelers held the Raiders to only 17(?) yards in the division game. They were awesome, but we played them tough.
