Thread: Blaming Daunte?

I can't believe there are so many people trying to blame Daunte for our loosing streak. Even after his last preformance. He did throw for 370 yards, with 4 TD's and 1 int. I am SO sick of people blaming everything on Daunte. The guy has a bad year last year, with lots of turnovers, and people are saying he needs to be more careful with the ball. So he changes his game in the offseason, becomes more conservative and cuts way way down on his turnovers, and now people are on him for not being more aggressive. COME ON PEOPLE! Fact is, he changed his game, to better the Minnesota Vikings. It is time for the other players on the team, to do the same, especially the defensive players. We as Minnesota fans should know by now, that we are not gonna be a good team, unless our D is good. If we have a bad team, or loosing streak, it is never because of our offense, it is our D that fails us. We can only go as far as our D lets us. For people to watch our last 3 games, and even think of blaming Daunte for the losses and not our D, tells me that they know nothing about football. Enough with people blaming Daunte. It is our D that has failed us lately, and that will probably will fail us again and again, untill we can get some talent on that side of the ball.
