BLAKE ELLIOT - It Was a Nice Run

Blake Elliot broke his leg in Developmental Camp, will require surgery, and is out for the season. So much for our return team. Who's next on the depth chart?

He has a decent shot at being a good reciever in the NFL, but
I doubt that Moss, Robinson, or about 3 other recievers were
at risk of getting beat out at that position. Behind Elliot on the
depth chart is the practice squad, ahead of him is the MN Viking
    recieving core.

No I wasn't serious, thus the title: It Was A Nice Run. There was no run. It might be that he'll catch on as a receiver next year, but I think he was hoping to be the kick returner this year. The return job will likely be Mewelde Moore's.

Lane Danielson will take over for Blake Elliot and will be on the return team.

BLAKE ELLIOT - It Was a Nice Run

Blake Elliot played for the St. John's Johnnies under John Gagliardi (I don't know how to spell his last name, I think it's close) in MN. He won the equivalent of the Hesiman trophy for Division 3 football this past year in leading the Johnnies to the D3 championship!! He's a baller, but he's too little, thus already getting hurt in the NFL. It's too bad though!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
