i dotn think we have a thing to worry about with brad johnson, in my book he is one smartest if not the smartest quarterback in the league, he will have a great year if we can protect him..his is one the msot accurate passers too, maybe he cant throw the real deep ball, but the recievers will gain yards after the catch...

To answer the person about why we picked up Pinky to spread the field:
You need that to help the running game.
By the way, Singer was right on also.
Moss didn't like going across the middle either.
I'm not comparing Moss to Pinly.
I'm just saying it's not all that important when there are others willing to do so.
Pinky will aid in spreading the field especially when lined up with Williamson.
Both guys have speed and if they both prove they can catch the ball Taylor will have a great year.
It will also help the TEs and RBs get more yards after a catch because they will be taking defenders away from the play.
You don't have to have 1000 yards receiving to help a team.
you have to be a team player and aid others as well.
Pinky is a good blocker down field too.

very good point an dif they stack up to stop the run..brad will pick them apart everytime with the passing..either long or short..dont matter as long as we keep moving the chains..

Re: BJ's 40 yarder to TW uncovers a glaring weakness.....
a quick guy to stretch the field is never a bad thing to have..
u can send T.w around, and pinky deep.
pinky might get say 3 pass's.. hopefuly when they are B.j's vision of open field TD pass.
u can't just send T.w all the time, we need someone fast. T.t and M.m have their specilties. so does pinky..
i can't call him tp.. icause i hope he dont wipe ----..

Re: BJ's 40 yarder to TW uncovers a glaring weakness.....
People have to respect your speed and your receiving ability if a WR is going to stretch the field. Pinkston has little ability and xero respect, he didn't even play last year.
The only positive I see is that Pinkston will only be in on obvious passing downs and probably in the slot or as a 4th receiver. Otherwise all a DB would have to do is cover him tight and bump him at the line hard to shut him down. He is going to have to burn at least two DBs before he gets any respect. Still I would rather have Sauce on the field than Pinkston.
Although I have my favorites, BJ doesn't. He is going to get the ball to whoever is open. This offense is totally broken without him."I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."
