BJ Move up -- Simms falters
Just over a year ago, Brad Johnson was banished to the Tampa Bay bench despite a decent quarterback and Clutch Factor ranking, never to appear again in a Buccaneer uniform.
No disrespect to Chris Simms, but the Bucs may be regretting their choice just a bit.
Since replacing Daunte Culpepper in Week 9, Johnson has managed the Vikings to six straight victories from the brink of oblivion to the thick of the playoff chase. He debuts this week as the No. 3 QB in our season rankings.
Meanwhile, the Bucs are looking for the same "management" with the untested Simms, who had to replace the injured Brian Griese. While the Bucs have managed to stay in the NFC South chase with Simms at the helm, he hasn't exactly excelled  Simms has only one touchdown pass in the last four weeks. He's No. 20 in our rankings.
