    Birk's Return

    Is it too late to take Birk up on his offer to play this year and garauntee his contract next year.

    I think he already had surgery.
    I can bench press my own body weight. And I weight 2,000 pounds.

    Surgery is today I think. It was either today or last tuesday, I forget which it was.

    wouldn't have mattered when his surgery was anyways. once you put a player on injuried reserve, you can take him off that list til the next season. we're definately going to be kicking ourselves about this whole Birk thing. he could have played this season, but he didn't want to reaggraviate his injury and risk next years salary on him risking his pro football career on one season when he was trying to rush back.
