Birk update...

Agent Joe Linta said he and the Vikings are still engaging in talks about keeping Pro Bowl center Matt Birk here in Minnesota.
"They want to keep the line of communications open to doing an extension so he can finish his career with the Vikings," Linta said.
Birk definatly deserves to retire a Viking
I know the NFL has changed with free agency
a lot but I would be nice to see all pro players
stay and retire on one team.
It would be nice to see Birk retire a Viking, but hopefully they are not putting all their focus on a guy still under contract..
he better stay here! he's got Matty B's to take care of
He is one player that I really cannot see going anywhere else or wanting to for that matter.
I'm sure this is one deal we will see get done, not only would it be great to see him retire here as a Viking, but he's still a hell of a ball player.......For sure, the main cog that makes our O - Line chug ......
