in all fairness... Birk has been very rational throughout the years with us.
Like some articles have said, the Vikings have asked Birk to take a pay cut a couple of times, he declined (like many would) but didn't make a big deal about it.

He's not asking for more money this year, or a huge deal the next couple years.
He just wants the extension to feel like they want him around, or at least thats the impression I get.

I'm sure something is going on in his mind since he knows he doesn't have many years left in him where he kind of feels like.. "i've put my body on the line for this team for years.. maybe that doesn't mean as much to them as i thought"

    but sadly,

The NFL is a business, first and foremost.
I can agree with that post.

....Anyway, new Marrdro wouldn't go back and dig up those posts.
Those same yutz's better hope old Marrdro doesn't come back and make them eat some crow.

    ;D
It is always a good thing to dig up old posts and expose idiocy.
I did it a few times a year or so ago.
Wow was that not recieved very well. I think they didn't realize you could search for specific things people take a stance/comment on here on PPO>
Me thinks that is why I was ignored by at least 2 people there for a spell.
There is no point in posting if you're not willing to follow-up and support your posts, past and present.
That's rediculous. A poster has the right to change his mind about something he said in the past. I respect a guy who says he was wrong more than a guy who is wrong, but too stubborn to retract something he once said.
LOL, I hear ya my friend, if it was just being wrong about something it would'nt be a big deal, its the yutzs who get all violent and nasty that are the ones to pull back up.

Again, rest assured, New Marrdro doesn't do that anymore but boy it would be fun as this season goes on a bit.
    ;D

Actually I didn't know he skipped last year.
The only one I knew about was Winfield.
So in essence I was pulling pooh out of my jiggly butt.
Was he injured last year or what was the deal becasue I do not remember him missing.
    haha smooth
    You like that huh?
There are a few on here that have enough class to admit it when they do it (and get caught).
    EJ is one of them.
