Thread: Birk out 3-4 Months

Eh this isn't very good news. He's out for 3-4 months, but there is a possibility of missing the whole season. Lets hope he recovers quickly.

hmmmm that story changed....when I first heard about it, they said he would be ready for the regular season....that sux bigtime

Maybe he should become an O-line coach. Guy has missed more time then he has played lately.

I'm not sold on Withrow for the season.I hope somebody cuts a center before the season starts. :roll:

I think Drafting a center, unless we get one someplace, in the draft next year is a must since Birk is gettin old and having many many surgeries. Hope he recovers fast and well and may withrow hold his own in place of Birk if he has to...

I didn't think Withrow did too bad. He is no Birk, that is for sure but I feel he did an ok job. Birk has had some pretty serious surgeries I would be surprised if he ever fully recovers. I remember last year when he tried too come back too soon he was playing very poorly a couple bad snaps and some missed blocks.

I hope he can get to 100% and play, because he is one of the best. Outlook not so good it seems though.

Withrow will be fine until Birk comes back. But now is the time to bring back Big Dix...because everybody knows that the ladies love Big Dix!

Not many centers can pull out and block for the run like Birk can(or could).
