The Pioneer Press reports Minnesota Vikings C Matt Birk (hip) will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip. It will be his fourth surgery in nine months. His other three surgeries have been to repair sports hernias. Birk expects to be healed for training camp in August.

Argh...I hate all that surgery stuff. Hopefully he'll stay healthy for the rest of his career...he's such a great player I don't want to see the Vikes lose him for good.

Ive had 2 labrum surgries on my shoulder and it was like 8 months PT. I hope hips dont take that long.

I hope he's healthy too....that way he can back up dissing everyone on the team in the media with another Pro Bowl season....one thing's for sure, the guy would make a great Fox Sports Analyist....just the type of extreme moralist that Fox needs to compliment Joe Buck

Long story short:
The dude rocks on the field and is an awesome player
however
The dude thinks he's a saint and disses all the dumb moves his teammates make....quite annoying

maybe its just me
