Kevin Seifert, writing for the Sporting News, reports Minnesota Vikings OC Matt Birk (hip), who missed all of last because of surgery to both hips and for a sports hernia, made it through the entire offseason practice schedule without reporting any discomfort.

thats good it's probably because after an injury that part of your body heals better and has made you less prone to injury in that part of the body.

Out of all the players we signed and those coming back...Birk is by far one of our greatest returns to the field....He is a true leader and tops among NFL Centers..

I also very anxious to see how well Birk and Hutchinson play alongside eachother....Should be a grand show for sure...

Our line is going to be so good compared to last year. The only consistant guy all of last year was Mckinnie. Birk will be back and we also have arguably the best guard in NFL on our team to now in Hutch. That is going to be one mean left side.

Not to mention Artis Hicks is an improvement on the right side at guard. Marcus Johnson should be at least a little better this year compared to last.
