Re: biggest suprise
EJ has surprised me a lot this year. I thought DT would be starting WSL but EJ has really looked good.
Erasmus would be #2, I would like to see him play with the starters and see if he can spark something for a pass rush.

Re: biggest suprise
I think EJ has shown he can play and that he will work for his spot.

Re: biggest suprise
I would say the biggest impact that wasn't expected is Henderson. The guy is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS around the ball. We brought in a lot of talent at LB and he was expected to be 2nd string.
Even DT is starting to mature into an even better player. It's a good problem to have. Taylor has had peoples hopes up. James is doing pretty good, Henderson has many critics and yet he is always making a tackle or helping on one. That is why he earned a spot.

Re: biggest suprise
I accidentally clicked the wrong thing and voted for pass rush when I meant EJ. Ej has surprised me a lot. Just like the rest of you, I thought that dontarrious would be the starter but EJ has looked awesome.

Re: biggest suprise
as far as pass rush , a real concern as far as i can tell , and has been dominated by mr james. he seems to be the only consistant pressure.
ej henderson has absolutely dominated at the weak side
edinger pretty much got elling traded or cut
alot of people knew taylor would do alot better then in baltimore , he has been quite consistant .
bennett is injured again, no one suprised here

Re: biggest suprise
EJ is biggest suprise because he went from starter MLB to backup MLB to starter WLB.

Another great sig by PPE!

Re: biggest suprise
I agree that E.J. is, though he was usually good at stopping the run last year anyway. It will be interesting to see if he has improved his pass coverage at all.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Re: biggest suprise
I didn't expect EJ to adapt that well right away.. He is a better OLB I think..
As for Erasmus that doesn't really surprise me.. I figured he would be good and getting some pressure.. Has he took the starting spot yet offically?

Re: biggest suprise
I am very exited about EJ. I would have to say that I never expected Edinger or any Vikings kicker to perform as Edinger did on Friday though. Edinger suprised me a little more.
