Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

Positives: Pass-blocking of the O-line. Speed of the DEs.

Negatives: McMullen and Pinky, why do we need those (still the benefit of the doubt though). Depth at CB after the injury to Edwards, and the cut of Fox.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

Positives: The defense played well and we had superb
    pass blocking.

Negatives: The run blocking needs to improve and Chad Greenway being out for the season.

Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

    Negative:
The willingness of some fans and reporters to judge Childress's coaching abilities and the talent of people like Tarvaris Jackson based on practices and pre-season games.

    Positive:
The Defensive Line looks solid, but, of course, judgement will wait until real football starts next Monday night.

    Positives:
Tarvaris Jackson is a first ballot HOFer after only playing a few downs of preseason football.

    Negatives:
MeMo has mastered autofellatio, even if he is healthy he will be too busy to play.

Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

    Positives:
Like all of you, the O and D lines.
    Especially the D.
I would also like to add in our coaching staff who appear that they can coach.
Alot better than the Tice era who couldn't make game time adjustments.
    Love Tomlin.
Our D will be much improved.

Also, the new organization isn't mortaging the bank for this year but is actually looking to the future as well.
    A new day has dawned.

    Negatives:
All the so called Vikings Fans who are still Nayesayers and look for all the negatives.
Sure the team has flaws, but heck most of the positions have our starters from last year as backups from a 9-7 team.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

    Positive:
Brad Johnson erasing doubt one completed pass at a time. The guy is like a machine, and thank god he's good because he is way too dorky for me to root for if that wasn't the case.

The new touchdown celebration the whole team has been doing. It's classy, it's fun, it involves teammmates, and you can do it at home with your fellow Vikings fans. The Knicks chest bump is out of style. The Vikings hip bump is in!

    Negative:
KRob and Dwight Smith. I can look past those incidents, but their actions damage the already fragile image. A new stadium is needed, and every time the Vikings act out of line it really is discouraging. This certainly cannot continue into the season. I am confident it won't

Re: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

    Positives:
Brad Johnson’s 199 bajilllion passer rating and his overtime call during the Dallas game—‘I’ll make the call:
You should have gone for two so we could go home!’

    Negatives
: Having to play Dallas, where the entire national preview, discussion, and commentary of this game can be summed up in a breathy, ‘Will T.O. T.O.?”
And having to listen to the haughty snarks once again, as they do every preseason, disclaim the necessity of watching past the first quarter of any preseason game and disdaining the desire of anyone else wanting to watch anyone not a starter on a team perform in a preseason game, making me wonder once again how they survive their own cynicism.
