Thread: Biggest Positives and Negatives of the preseason. Whats yours?

I had to think of this one.

Negative would probably be a tie between
1 Krob drunk driving and
Greenway getting hurt

Positive
TJack looking better than everyone expected in preseason

Positive: Defensive performance

Negative: tie between Tank's injury and McMahon's performance (< though that seems to have little effect on us now...)

Positives: It's over! The regular season is Monday! McMahon & O'Sullivan are gone.

Negatives: The season ending injuries to our players & K-Rob falling off the wagon.

side note: Vanderjagt's new nickname: Vandershank

Positives:

Both lines are much more superior than last year.
We should win a lot more than what the experts predict because of our lines.


Negatives:

K-Rob losing the battle with his disease.
Childress bringing on so many mediocre ex-Eagles players.

the bigggest positive i saw was how our defense played when they were in there..the fearsome foursome are reborn

the biggest negatives were when tank and greenway got hurt and out for season and krob slippin, he could had a outstnding year this year and now look what he has to show for it, maybe a year long suspension and being a packer

best positive for me is the New overall Look of our team!!

D is amped and upgraded,
O has been helped in weak areas.. while no real true single power leads it, it's a well balanced machine.


biggest neg?


gotta be unjuries!!!! and high speed car chases.

For myself, on the plus side of things, I'de like to say the WHOLE VIKINGS ORGANIZATION coming together.



Our owner for putting money into the facilitys for the team and his constent pursuit for a new stadium. Our new coaches all seem to be working hard we eachother to put a solid team on the field, week in and week out.



The new WCO , which I believe fits Brad J. Perfectly.




The new Tampa 2 based D, which I feel our players on D are best suited for, SPEED KILLS...



Longwell and Kluwe..




Negatives,
I'll have to wait and see but I feel we may have some issues with or Kick Return game, but hopefully our coaches have something up their sleaves on this one...



Losing Greenway and Tank, but we shall overcome those downfalls....

for the preseason....

Positives:
The lines look solid, the team is already playing like a team (obviously rusty/newbie feeling though), and it is refreshing to not see Meathead and Cotrell on the sidelines.

Negatives: Special teams have a long way to go.

Biggest possitive: Heath Farwell leading the league in tackles. The guy has a nose for the ball and is in position to make plays all the time.

Negative: Injury to Chad. I don't even know how much he would have contributed, but him being out sets back his development and is probably weighing on him mentaly.

Other then that it was pre-season so not much you can take away from it.
