Jackson has the potential to be one of the most exciting players in the league. As of yet, unfortunately, he has shown no signs that his talent is anything more than average.
A bit of a contradiction there, If you ask me.

    Keep your eyes on:
RB Mewelde Moore—Dangerous on punt returns and third downs.

    Take your eyes off:
DE Kenechi Udeze—No sacks last year leaves nowhere to go but up (or the bench).
Tough assessment. I think there record will be better than that but likely not in the playoffs(hopefully im wrong). Mewelde is a good returner and was the best pass catcher out of the backfield.
I think they will likely use DE by committee approach, leave Udeze in on running downs and replace him on passing downs.

That was actually a good read.
But his projection is kind of unreasonable, he's assuming that all of our guys who have something to prove, Williamson, Rice, Wade, and Jackson will fail, and I think thats totally unfair.

Agreed. He clearly doesn't know what talent is. "He has the potential to be one of the most exciting players in the league" then "no signs that his talent is anything above average."

Potential and talent are one in the same IMO. Learning to use that talent effectively is what makes a player what he is. And if developed correctly Jackson could be a great player.

I am getting so sick and tired of people blaming TJ for having a lousy year You could have put Payton Manning in as the Vikings QB and with that offensive line of our blocking, he would have looked just as bad. Couple that with the fact he was a first year player and you have a recipie for disaster. Whoever is QB this year will do better with better offensive line blocking. If they don't have it, no qb is going to win for them.

    opinions are like butholes everyone
    has one.
Mine differs quite a bit from the writer who wrote this article.
Fortunately, I emailed myself the article, so I can get on him after the Vikes prove him wrong this year.
