The Big one
Well guys here it is, The big game. The Packers lost and if we beat the bears, it gives us some breathing room. Now for the past 3 out of the 4 years we have shot ourselfs in the foot when it came to making the playoffs. Redskins twice..but the saints saved us once. Baltimore kicked us out the playoffs... Hmm lets even mention Arizona. No way in hell we make the playoffs without winning the division. We must beat Chicago Detriot and Arizona to solidify a playoff spot. Now Peterson,Allen,Frerrote.Berrian,Taylor,Winfield,Th e 3 Williamses,Greenway,Tahi,The O LINE!!!,CEDRIC GRIFFIN, and Darren Sharper. SHOW ME WHAT YOU MADE OF BABY!

Re: The Big one
Beat the Bears is a must.
After that:
* Vikes have to look like a playoff team and kick the Lions big
* Vikes will have trouble with the high flying Cards, I'll be at the game going hoarse from cheering.
But the D line lives up to the pre-season hype and hammers Warner.
I'm not holding my breath.
* IMO Vikes should beat Atlanta, because they live off Turners running the ball.
Falcon's lost every game Turner was controlled.
* Giants should have home field for the playoffs thus, they should be playing 2nd stringers.
I'm predicting the Vikes will be 10-6 winning the NFCN.

Play your games one at a time. Don't look forward, focus on the now.

As a fan, I think it's just like an analyst, you make predictions, look to the future possibilities, evaluate future opponents.
As for the Bears, I'm not worried.
The only way the Vikes lose is it they beat themselves like they did last time against the Bears.
ST doing it again by giving up field position on kickoffs, muffing a punt for a TD, thrown off balance by no huddle, and forced to win with the pass.
Even after all that Vikes only lost by a TD on the road.

Re: The Big one
Numbers say that if we win, our playoffs chances raise to about 60%... if we lose, they fall to about 16%
We're bringing purple back.

Re: The Big one
This is our superbowl right now. Win this, and we're face to face with a potential playoff berth. Lose this... and we might have to start looking ahead to the offseason. This game could decide Childress' job so he better have these guys ready to go.
I'm TIRED of being the third or fourth team out in the wildcard hunt waiting for other teams to drop a game so that we can slip in. We need to bring the purple and gold back to the #1 spot in the division where we rightly belong.
