Re:Bieniemy turns down USC, gets promotion
Post was mostly sarcasm, but I do want to know, what value does Bevell bring to the team? Until Favre showed up, the offense has been weak. Its Childress' scheme, I want to know if maybe having a real OC would really change anything.

Again, I'm not a huge Bevs fan, but, his name came up a couple of times last year as a up and comer for a HC position.
As I said, mix in the whole discussion about how a RB's coach has alot of insight into the total effort of the offense Kirwan and Ryan had the other day and I see Theenimies promotion as a step to keep him on the staff incase Bevs does leave next year.
Obviously there is something going on that us fans don't see or understand. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Step 1: Bieniemy gets offer from USC.
Step 2: Vikings give him raise to keep him.
Step 3: Vikings give him new title to justify raise.
Outside of that, nothing has changed. Stuff like this happens all the time in normal workplaces. For those that think differently, I have a couple of questions:
Are the Vikings going to hire a new coach to fill the "Vacancy" at RB coach?
If Childress is unable to coach at game, who is going to call the plays?
