Better for Elling to miss the last FG?
In hindsight it seems so much more reasonable to say it, but remember when it was 14-6 and Elling banked one off the upright and we all cheered and were relieved?
Well imagine if that was just a few moreinches left and hit off it and went out. The Cards would have came down and most likely scored like they did, but we would have had the ball back with a few minutes left, and a chance to get a game-winning drive at the end of the game.
I remember I tought we were really lucky that he made the fieldgoal, but if it missed, we would have had a much better chance to win the game.
Or heck, if Emmitt Smith got into the endzone in the 2 pt conversion, the Cards would have definitely kicked a last second field-goal to send it to OT instead of winning by 1, which would have turned into our favour despite the the momentum they would have carried into OT.
Ah, it really sucks looking at what ifs while the Pack are ready to play in just hours [B)]
