Like any other go-to receiver, the Vikings' Bernard Berrian wishes he had more chances to make plays.

funny how he did not mention Atlanta. Hmmmmmm."I definitely do feel we're one of the dangerous teams in the playoffs," he said. "We let Indianapolis get away with one. We let Tampa get away with one. I even kind of feel we let Tennessee (get away), too."If you want me to go out there and get you 4 yards, I ll get you 4 yards. If you want me to go out there and get 6 yards, I ll go out there and get you 4 yards" -LeRoy Hoard Former Viking

Re: Berrian would like to see more plays come his way
Finally, some actual reporting.......
A K'rs and a LB'r.Mehlhaff, a sixth-round draft pick in 2008 for the New Orleans Saints, is a candidate to make the 2009 roster as a kickoff specialist, allowing veteran Ryan Longwell to focus on field goals.
.....snip
The Vikings also signed Nebraska-Omaha linebacker Kenny Onatolu.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

He's right though, we were there with all those teams, self destruction is the only thing that can stop us. We have the lowest turnover margine of any team in the playoffs, if we can correct that at the right time we have a very good chance of making this thing last.

Re: Berrian would like to see more plays come his way
... time to dig up the ol' "prediction/expectation thread" from the time when the Vikings signed Berrian. I hope it hasn't been deleted or anything cause it would have been fun to see what everybody thought... myself included. For the second consecutive season, Berrian finished just shy of 1,000 receiving yards (964 this season). Yet Berrian, who signed a six-year, $42 million contract last offseason, fulfilled his role as a big-play receiver. He scored eight touchdowns, including one on a punt return, and had 14 pass receptions of 20 or more yards.

Re: Berrian would like to see more plays come his way
Hopefully Berrian can make some noise in our playoff run. He's gonna get alot of 1/1 against the blitz crazy Igglz. Really need to sting em' early, and often. All of our recievers will have chances, and it's nice to hear our playmaker wants the ball. He will.
