No but he's one half of a great tandem of starting WCO receivers.

Now just get A QB to get the ball to him.
Sorry folks I am just not sold on TJ.
I have yet to see any solid play that points to a "great" QB future for this young man.
    Put him at slot WR.

Well I would think that being paid he should be but Rice is pretty darn good and you have Allison and Wade there. I dunno. Who is our #1? Lets leave it alone all season so noone will know.
I am THE #1 Sidney Rice #18 Fan ever! Don't Be surprised when this kid IS a superstar! He is humble, smart, tough, talented and has alot of character! Takes alot of pride in his work, team, fans and life. Watch out for this kid! I think he is awesome! Everytime he touches the ball its MAGIC!

oh oh them are fighting words around here. But I agree

But if Rice comes through this season there is nothing wrong with
    WR 1 and 1a

I like that...I think we're solid at receivers, line, and backs. Now it's in TJ's hands.

I know so many here support TJ.
I have been a Viking fan since the 60's.
We have had somegood QB's in that time.
At this stage I just don't see that "it" factor with TJ.
Most will claim that it is the "Black QB" thing that drives not liking him.
    SO NOT TRUE.
Think about this for a minute.
I can remember when there were no Black QB's.
But now the postion is up for grabs.
Look at the Vikings. I am willing to bet no other team has had greater success with black QB's than the Vikes. Moon, Cunningham, Cullpepper.
So as a Viking fan, race plays no role in my views on the position of QB.
    I just want a good/great QB.
