If defenses want to stack the box to try and stop Adrian Peterson and the running game, we're going up top. It's simple as that. I love the one-on-ones.

Good insite to what goes on in Bernard's head, I like somebody who is gonna work hard. I also like the fact that he has confidence in Tarvaris. Hopefully a they make many connections.

But Berrian will be playing on Astroturf instead of that grass at soldier field.

so that means he will be atleast half a second faster right? and a half of a second is alot in the NFL. i expect him and peterson and Jaymar and Allison to burning up and down that turf. cause they wouldnt have to wear cleats or run in grass.

Nobody plays on Astroturf anymore, it's FieldTurf, not the velcro-covered concrete that they used to play on.
I don't think it's any faster of a surface then a well maintained, dry grass field.

I like the optimistic point of view, but I'm skeptical about the advantages and disadvantages about the new turf that everyone has these days. It certainly isn't the astroturf you mention. I believe they call it FieldTurf now. Gone are the days of increased injuries on turf. Gone also are the speed advantage in football and fast bounces of the ball in baseball.
