Bernard Berrian Makes Dropsies All-Star Team
From:
Week 5 picks: More than just games By Bill Simmons on ESPN.com
Which reminds me, here's my Dropsies All-Star Team through four weeks: Bernard Berrian and Andre Johnson (starting WRs), Daniel Graham (starting TE), everyone on Atlanta and Tennessee (backups), Ben Watson (injured reserve), and every fullback in the league. Berrian has to be the MVP. I'd love to see a game show in which he tries to catch various things -- keys, babies, Jell-O, pop flies, knives, you name it. If you're ever holding a baby and leaning out of a burning building and Bernard Berrian says, "Throw the baby, throw it to me," I implore you to explore alternatives."There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.” ~ Albert Einstein

haha Rod Simons said it best , "He made an 8 million dollar catch , and a 8 million dollar drop" in the Titans game , that double move would probably have been 6 with his speed , I still have 200% more faith in him then in Troy Williamson though.

Impossible... I thought Childress was the best evaluator of talent in the NFL?

I think Childress is a good evaluator bet lets not fool ourselves into thinking Bernard is going to catch every pass sent his way.
I was fairly mute on Berian signing and was very aware of his droppsies but anything is better than Troy Williamson. The difference here is dropping one then turning around and making a very nice one handed catch that got us in very good position for a Peterson TD.

I wish we had Martin Nance.

Martin Nance dropped to many passess but I can't say I expected him to get cut, something wasn't right with him though, nobody picked him up he wasn't that good. We have good WR's, Rice needs to stay healthy and Allison needs more opportunity, he gets more seperation than any WR on the roster including his YAC ability.

cmon now seriously man. tell me you did not want us to go after BB in the off-season, I dont think I read one post that someone was pissed off about the addition. Anyways i am disappointed in BBs performance so far, well all our "good" pickups of the off-season. I hope they can turn it around thoughImpossible... What, no Terrel Owens?
No question Berrian has had some piss poor drops, but I've got to think (without actually doing any research) that TO is either tied or right behind him.
And I'm a guy who knows a thing or two about dropping.
