How much better can one player make the Vikings' passing game?
In the case of wide receiver Bernard Berrian, the team hopes quite a bit....

Re: Bernard Berrian could be quite a catch
Oh yeah... When defenses stack the box, I expect big things. T-Jack will audible out and BB will fly past one on one coverages. We will make people pay for crowding the line of scrimmage.
Great article singer.

Re: Bernard Berrian could be quite a catch
Very nice read my freind. Thanks.
I love it when Vets act like vets.Jackson agreed, and he has been impressed with his new No. 1 receiver's work ethic.
"I think he signed the one day and the next day he was pretty much here," Jackson said. "It shows that he's committed and he'll come here and work hard to get on the same page as us. He's been here since Day One, and we've come a long way and still have a long way to go."
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Bernard Berrian could be quite a catch
I think a lot of WRs are surprised at how hard Jackson throws the ball.In addition to Jackson throwing a harder ball than expected, Berrian said he's been struck by his new quarterback's physical skills and grasp of the offense.
"He's definitely a better player than I thought," he said. "I didn't really know too much about him coming in here, but just from seeing what I've seen, he can make all the throws an NFL quarterback needs to make. He's got a strong arm, and from what I can tell right now he's getting a lot smarter within the offense. He's definitely progressing."Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Someone needs to get arrested to balance out all this positivity.

Great article...love the positive hype.
Love the fact we replaced Williamson w/ Berrian.
Huge upgrade right there.

Re: Bernard Berrian could be quite a catch
"I think the next week after, that's when we started," Berrian said. "It's been a while. No less than two days a week, and most of the time it was three. I'd say we were out there probably a good hour each day."
2 to 3 hours a week???
Is this normal?
Dedication to me would be 2-3 hours a day.
I'm hoping they get it together by reg season.
As for all this talk about how HARD TJ throws the ball.
It might be good to stop the defenders from making a break on the ball, but if the receivers can't catch it, it really doesn't matter.
If the receivers can't adjust to catching his cannon balls, he needs to adjust his throws.
His job is to make a completion, NOT to just get the ball to the receiver.
It's the sign of a good QB.

My guess is they spent additional time each day working out and reviewing the playbook.
