There is a train station inside the Mall of America. There is another a few blocks away.

Wow. I'm the opposite. I love all those games. I think Thursday games should be played all year like Monday night games.

More football to watch the better.

But then again, I'm not interested in watching any other sports.

I love having NFL games to watch on Mondays,Thursdays, Saturdays and Thanksgiving as well.

I'm hoping the Bears realize an inconvenient truth, when they get gored tonight.

I love watching games 4 days out of 7.
I hate it when the Vikings have to play any game other than Sunday at noon.
Harder for me to get to the home games, and screws with the practice schedule for away games.

Part of the deal is to go to the Mall of America Saturday or Monday. I have never been to the dome and dont really know were to start. Hotel?,light rail?, 6 tickets? Tailgating?
I have been lerking around here for a couple years and feel like I know alot of you.
I would greatly appreciate any advice any one here can offer.
This would be a good place to stay. You can walk across the street to the Mall Of America and catch the light rail to the game there as well.

I have stayed there in the past and I know Nodak has as well. Not a bad place to stay and right next door to a resturant. Perkins I think.

In fact I'm bringing the old lady to that game and may be staying there myself.

The tailgating is real close to where the light rail stop at the dome.

Look forward to seeing you there.
This will be my first game in person since I was young (At the Met when I was 10) and I'm giddy as a school girl with anticipation, I think I might be a little nervous walking up to the PPO gazebo, Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks for the link. There was not any rooms left, got me a little concerned. I got a room at the Ramada. ;D
Giddy as a school girl! oooohh yaaa!!!!
Now to secure some ticket to the game.
Ramada at the Mall Of America?
I've stayed there as well. Not quite as nice, but it will do.
No resturant within walking distance, but they have one in the hotel that has a decent breakfast.
They have a shuttle bus to the Mall.
It drops you off the opposite side of the Mall from the light rail. From there it would be a bit of a walk to get to the train.
Maybe they also have a shuttle to the train, I've never asked.

    Yes it is the Ramada
at the Mall Of America. The shuttle to the train would be great. No resturant near by is a bit of a bummer, but I will have my uncles truck so i will make it just fine.
Thanks for the info if anyone else has any helpful info you can also PM me. and I will come by and introduce myself and family at the PPO tent.
Go ahead back up your to close away.

Plenty of resturants in the mall and around it. Just not a close walk from the hotel.
There will be plenty of Vikings fans around the hotel come game day.

    Oh don't get me wrong.
I love watching football every day its on.
Just don't like to see the Vikes routine messed up.
Let the other teams deal with the short weeks to prep but don't do it to the Vikes.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Well as long as Cutler throws 5 interceptions like he did tonight it should be a good game for us.

So far he has had 2 4 plus Int games when they have had a spotlight game

    ^^^this. this. this. and this.

    What a chump.
Granted, he doesnt have any targets outside of Forte and Olsen.
    No matter.

BF had made winners out of Harvin and Rice so far. (Up your butt Jo-boo to the favre haters)
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

The no target excuse is just an excuse.

Good QBs don't throw Ints at the rate he does, period.

Cutler was a mistake for the Bears that will set them back for at least two more seasons. Good for us.
