found a thread on another forum about this, heres a piece of it, the rest is all about the bears basically since it was on a bears forum

I know its not "sexy" to talk about the O-line, but its the backbone of any team, and not a coincidence bears/vikes 2-0 spending it on o-line..

The Vikings have $102 million to spend like every other team. The fact they decided to invest 31 percent of that money in their offensive line doesn't mean they're devoid of stars. They've just chosen a different way to spend.

The Bears know the feeling. They've put a lot of money in their offensive line, too -- in fact, more than any team other than the Vikings, according to information provided by the NFL Players Association and several agents. Minnesota is spending just under $33 million in salaries for offensive linemen, the only team with more than $30 million invested in that area.
