    Re: The Bears loss

we play the bears in december......
think they'll even have to have their starters play?
byt then they might have locked the division up, if not the confrence.
theyve got arizona, san francisco, and miami in the next 3 games.....
then giants, jets, and new england.....i could see them being 11-0 with no NFC team close to them when we play them.
only team that has a chance during that stretch is the pats, and i dont think they even have much of one.

    Man!
Look at that margin of victory.
I am really proud of how we competed in that game.
We are the only team to fluster the Bears O.

I respectfully disagree on the Giants call.
That is a team in total disarray which is heading nowhere quickly.
I'd pick the game @ St. Louis as more of a bugaboo than that one.
Linehan's got that team playing some tough ball right now.

If the Bears weren't going to have an easy enough time with Arizona next week, the Cardinals got some key injuries in their game against KC. If this game isn't a slaughter I'll consider it an upset even if the Bears win.

I had to think about that one for a while.
Mainly because you don't know what NYG team is going to be on the field from week to week.
I am gambling they show up this game.
I also wanted to go with St.Louis, but I don't think there D is as solid.
The Rams might be able to trade TDs and compete if they don't get flustered by the bears D and limit the TOs.

I hope the NYG, NYJ, Pats, Vikes and the Rams all beat the Bears.
That may very well be the toughest part of their schedule.

That may very well be the toughest part of their schedule.
The hope for taking the NFCN is, obviously, for the Vikings to take care of their own business first.
Secondly, I have been eyeballing the Bears schedule since this summer and that mid-season stretch is no cakewalk.

    Bears
    Nov 5 Miami
    Nov 12 @N.Y. Giants
    Nov 19 @N.Y. Jets
    Nov 26 @New England
    Dec 3 Minnesota
    Dec 11 @St. Louis
    Dec 17 Tampa Bay

Miami has been stinking it up, even though some of the 'experts' were predicting an AFCE crown for them.
Tampa has also been choking big time when they were getting some pre-season love.
I don't think either of these teams are as bad as their current records indicate.
They both have the potential to come alive for at least a few games this season if not more.

The Giants and Jets also have reasonable teams that are very sporadic in their game-time execution.
St. Louis is another team that has potential, but is all over the board in their offensive and defensive production.
Beating the Pats in their house will be no easy task.

    Vikings
    Nov 5 @9ers
    Nov 12 Packers
    Nov 19 @Miami
    Nov 26 Cardinals
    Dec 3 @Bears
    Dec 11 @Lions
    Dec 17 Jets

The NFCN battle is far from over.
The Vikings have a relatively easier schedule during that stretch of the season and they, hopefully, will be able to make up a few games.
The Bears road series @Jints, @Jets, and @Pats is going to be a tough battle for the Bears.
They finish it off with a home stand against the Vikings.
If the Vikings get their offensive production on target and continue to improve with their D the next battle at Soldier field will be important in the NFCN.
Of course, for it to matter at all, the Vikings will have to take care of their own business.

The only team they play that is really dangerous is NE.

    Re: The Bears loss

The Bears have already dispatched the defending NFC champs with ease and the regular-season schedule provides few challenges. Chicago’s butter-soft schedule does not offer a single quality opponent until a Nov. 26 trip to New England (4-1). They follow that with games against Minnesota (3-2) and St. Louis (4-1) in what passes for the toughest stretch of their entire 2006 campaign. Six of Chicago’s final 11 opponents are the worst teams in football: Arizona (1-4), San Francisco (2-3), Miami (1-4), Tampa Bay (0-4), Detroit (0-5) and Green Bay (1-4). The combined record of their final 11 opponents is 20-33 (.377).

    Re: The Bears loss

I dont care if they have a soft schedule or not, this team destroyed a team we lost to.
I would hate to say it, but if it was not for McNabb, grossmen could be the top QB in the NFC.
It is not even the half way point, things could happen, the vikings are only two games out of first place.
I just hope to god they dont bring back that g@y super bowl shuffle

    Re: The Bears loss

We ofcourse need to come up big against NE at home, and vs the Bears at soldier field. Then we can afford to lose to Seattle at Seattle.. Given that the Bears gets losses from Us, New England, the Giants and then hope that one of either the Jets, the Rams or the Packers at lambeau can pull off something big..

Remember Rex struggled when he faced the only though defense he has faced so far.. our D..

Giants D aint bad either, neither is the New England defense.. and the away game at the Rams aint gonna be easier either..

But the Bears will eventually end up getting lucky again..

First with us fumbling at they scoring on the blown coverage.. and then with them facing Seattle the week after Alexander breaks his foot, and then now facing Arizona with Fitzgerald out.. I still dont think that their offense is anything special.. their get all the 50/50 plays to go their way right now, everytime Rex throws an interception, its dropped.. and tipped passes are in someway caught by the Bears recievers.. Lets hope that, that luck disapears as early as vs the Cards this weekend..
