    Bears' Briggs & Tillman fined after loss to Vikings

    Two Bears players were fined by the NFL for penalties in Monday night's 20-13 loss to the Vikings.

    Linebacker Lance Briggs was fined $5,000 for a roughing-the-passer penalty on quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

    Cornerback Charles Tillman was fined $7,500 for a horse-collar tackle.

    Two veteran Chicago Bears defenders, cornerback Charles Tillman and weakside linebacker Lance Briggs, have been fined a total of $12,500 for what the league deemed illegal hits in the Bears' 20-13 loss to Minnesota on Monday night.......

    That would of been a nice 15 yarder.

    Too bad there was no flag on the horse-collar tackle.
    That would of been a nice 15 yarder.
    It would have only been a half yard penalty. He was pulled down on the 1 yard line & the penalty would have only moved the ball half the distance to the goal.
