Prediction: Baskett wins by default when McMullen gets cut by the fourth week...er, this IS Childress....4th quarter, and Carter gets promoted from the practice squad.

You are exaggerating. No one said he was going to be a Hall of Famer or a Legend. People just said he was better than McMullen. This thread will prove that point!

Baskett doesn't have to be a Fitzgerald type player for it to be a bad trade, he only has to outperform McMullen. I just want to establish that.

Basket has potential and I think that is the reason why people were upset over the move.
Why trade a lot of upside (Basket) for Billy "would you like a hashbrown with that" McMuffin?
Muffin boy has shown little to no plus side during his whole career.
We pretty much know what we are getting with him....a warmer bench.

All the hype from Philly about him and he caught a few passes, but that was preseason which doesn't count!
Right now he is an undrafted rookie that hasn't caught a pass in the NFL, so let's see how it plays out and at the end of the year which player was better to have.
