Right on! It's gonna be a while till these backs get together. What I've read so far is that there was some missed audibles yesterday and that's why McCardell walked into the endzone. People were out of place and out of sync with each other, but what else would they be at this stage of playing together?

Now, Kenechi, Pat, Kevin, and Napolean were definately starting to gel last night. I was really impressed with what I saw of Udeze; several double teams and still great pressure on Brees. In the slow-mo replay, it was his hands that forced the Tip Up that almost got us an early turnover. Beautiful sack by Nap that coulda knocked Brees OUT! I'm psyched to watch these guys get better and better, because they're starting in a great place. As far as DT, Cowart, and EJ . . . I'll give `em a month to show improvement, and that's feelin' generous. Tice is gambling, playing the starters late in the games, but if we get through it they'll be tougher and tighter out of the gate.

a preson i rather see us lose all preseason as it show weakness that can be adressed. Winning dosnt show u need much improvements. I liek that soem fo the d is startign to gel but i aint seeing the much imoprived d yet.

This is also the first game that all the starters have played at once. The defense started to gel real well as the game went on. At this rate, the D won't dissapoint at all....

Let's look at last year's standings. New England (1-3). Philadelphia (1-3). Cleveland (3-1). Tennessee (3-1). Oakland (3-1). Dallas (3-1). Tampa (3-1). The only undefeated team in preseason was, drum roll, Carolina.

How much farther do I need to go?? Basically, I can't believe there are still people that don't know this, but here goes once again: PRESEASON MEANS NOTHING!!!!!!

The Vikings are 2-1. Hopefully will go 3-1. Does that mean anything? No. I wouldn't care if they were 0-4. When the chips are really down, that's when it counts. And until then, I refuse to be worried about the Vikings.

You guys need to take it easy. We will never have a perfect game, try and look at the positives, like how our passing game is rocking.

the defense needs more than one or two quarters in one game to gel together. i am not going to worry til the season. I have enough confidence in tice and in the veterans to make sure that these superb pro athletes will be more than ready by sept 11
