Yes, this truly sucks for us as he's a very good player and a personal favorite. But, we do have some talent at that position in Wiggins and Owens. I strongly suggest we go after Chamberlain if he is out there as well as any other TE's who might be able to fill our need NOW as far as blocking goes.

No disrespect to JK, but we should be able to create a reasonable replacement of him with a combo of Wiggins, Owens and some big, tough TE who just wants to block. Of course, the defense will probably figure out when it will be run vs. pass, but if the Vikes O mows the DL down on every play, it won't matter. That said, JK is one special footballer and will be missed this year!

This is huge. However, Owens and Burton might give us at least 60% of what we get from Kleinsasser. That should be good enough to get in to the playoffs. After all, that's why Tice wanted so much depth at TE and RB. Man, sounds like he has some kind of crystal ball or something...
