They definitely have very little credence due to the fact that they are never source material and never go to game, etc. They are really no different than just making a longer post than normally made here.

Hell, I could sign up for an account and post 28 Bleacher Report "articles" by the end of the day. That does not make them any sort of solid source material.
There is a BIG difference between a BR article and a Star Trib or P.Press article. Basically the access to information that is pertinent.
In this instance, this one was interesting. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Comeon my friend, we didn't loose that game cause our RT and LT went out for a play or two.Panic... you shouldn't.
But I think the injuries mounting along the offensive line is similar to the disaster that we Packers experienced through the first 6 to 8 games this season.. and at LT are still fighting.
We lost cause we saw something new across the line that was executed to perfection and our staff couldn't figure out how to beat it on the fly.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Now.. I also think the Cards might have shown a little bit on how to play the Vikes with pressure on Brett and limiting AP.. now I don't think that many teams have a safety as good as Wilson to pull it off..

And then last night, EJ, Griffin, McKinnie, T. Johnson and Loadholt.
And both McKinnie and Loadholt returned to the game. Hard to say that resembles the problems the Packers were facing at that position.
McKinnie (I read last week) has been playing with a bad back for a few weeks. And, even if he returned, he looked like crap.
And I felt the *shudder* in Vikingland when Cook went in at RT.

I think it is very fair to throw out the comparison.. through half the season we had players playing at less than a 100% percent and it clearly effected their play. Albeit, we had a boat anchor in at right tackle early on, but that really was due to Tauscher not being ready to go.. and remained off the roster.Zeus wrote:

Favre was under pressure most the of the game, and to me and watching that was not the same Loadholt playing right tackle..
We didn't see much in room for AP and Taylor to run as well.. and honestly the Cards are that good in the front seven against the run..
I could be over estimating how good the Viking line is and expected more... but somehow I think we are seeing a residual effect of injuries along that line.

Re:Back Away From the Panic Button, Vikings Fans
No panic here, sometimes in sports, you need to get an ass whooping to wake up. We recieved the first part, now lets see how well we respond to that beat down.
My prayers go out to EJ and his Family and Team mates. Very bad injury, but I believe over time, he will beat it.
Time for others to step up and fill that void, simple as that.
This is still a very good team.

Re:Back Away From the Panic Button, Vikings Fans
I just saw Derrick Brooks on First Take talking about how this is just a "hiccup" and the Vikings do not need to worry.
Got me to thinking ... he clearly talks as if he still wants to play and we could definitely use the depth. Not sure what kind of shape he is in, but his presence alone could be good for the younger guys who will have to step up now.

While not a bad call, I think that getting Robison more involved would be a better choice. Every time he's on the D-line, it seems like he makes (or comes close to making) a play.I just saw Derrick Brooks on First Take talking about how this is just a "hiccup" and the Vikings do not need to worry.

I just wish they'd gone after some of those FA d-backs who were out there like McKenzie or McAlister. Now both are on the Saints and the Vikings are stuck playing Sapp and Allen too much.
