Back Away From the Panic Button, Vikings Fans
The 2008 Arizona Cardinals.
The 2007 New York Giants.
The 2006 Indianapolis Colts.
Those three teams have a couple of things in common. The first is that they all went to the Super Bowl. Two of those three teams, the Giants and Colts, won the Super Bowl in the years listed. But that's not the main thread that connects them. . .not for the purposes of this post, at least.
Each of those three teams went on to represent their conference in the biggest game of the year. . .and they each had a game late in the season where they got their butts collectively handed to them in a manner that made people wonder if they were legitimate contenders or not.

Decent article - not one that I was expecting from the bleacher report.
The Vikings look very good on paper. But it is not paper that wins titles. It is heart, leadership, talent, and experience.
And right now, the Minnesota Vikings have all of that.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Agree. I for one, am going to pick the Bengals D apart abit to see if they have the talent (LB's/S) to do to us what the Cards did.NodakPaul wrote:

I think that it has already been seen. You don't get to 10-2 without heart, leadership, talent, and experience.NodakPaul wrote:

Let's face it, this team is almost certainly going to finish as the #2 seed in the playoffs. When we host that divisional game on January 16/17, it is a whole new situation - and one that I am excited to experience.

We need to kill the bleacher articles. They suck and they are total douches.
Why give them more views?

Not sure I agree. Do they spin it the way we want it to be spun? Hell no, but I for one find it refreshing to read what other venues are saying about our team.Marrdro wrote:

Panic... you shouldn't.
But I think the injuries mounting along the offensive line is similar to the disaster that we Packers experienced through the first 6 to 8 games this season.. and at LT are still fighting.

Re:Back Away From the Panic Button, Vikings Fans
Bleacher Report really isn't a "venue" .... it is just people blogging. They just portray it as if it is more.
They definitely have very little credence due to the fact that they are never source material and never go to game, etc. They are really no different than just making a longer post than normally made here.
Some of them are interesting opinions and what not, but they are not "articles" or anything of note. No more than your opinion or mine is
