Vikings | M. Moore back in doghouse
    Sun, 11 Dec 2005 20:11:52 -0800

Anthony Maggio, of KFAN.com, reports Minnesota Vikings RB Mewelde Moore (quadriceps) is back in head coach Mike Tice's doghouse for a lack of toughness. Moore injured his quadriceps during the Week 13 game, a game where he was only in on one play. Tice joked that he didn't know how Moore injured himself since he was hardly on the field. Moore claims he was available to do more than just punt return duties during Week 14, but Tice claims Moore wasn't around to be asked to do much of anything. Tice said, "When you look on the bench and you turn around and you bump into a guy, that's a guy that wants to go in the game. When you turn around on the bench and you can't find the guy, that's a guy that doesn't want to go in the game. That's kind of the way it is."

I have to agree with Tice on this one.The player you have to look for is one that doesnt want to be found.
If winning isn,t everything, why keep score?

I would rather have Memo in than Bennett, he may get hurt but so does Bennett and Memo is a better runner.

Tice will need a big game from Moore next week. I think in a way it's good for MeMo to get one more week of rest. We're gonna need ALL the RBs we have next week. Bennett got injured on the fumble he had. He got nailed on that play!

I watched the Bears/Steelers game yesterday (live in Chicago). Holy cow. Jeromed Bettis had a 6 yard TD scamper in which he ran over Mike Brown and then over Urlacher! He was playing with a bruised knee. If he gets limited carries next week it will be easier for us. The Steelers O-Line is impressive too. The Bears had no answers to screens (because the O-line was down the field blocking everybody!) and they didn't give a single sack as Oguleye and Alex Brown were pretty much held in check the whole day.

It will be a true test of how good our football team is.
    Halo 4. Start another fight.

I am glad that the game is in Minnesota not in Pitt! We hopefully will have Kevin Williams back next week and I am praying that Pat Williams is OK and he can play.
