But after searching and finding this, I doubt you will leave there and NOT having the feeling of being "futtbucked". But the idea of seeing the awaygames with friends and PPOers is a very good one, im all for that! I just doubt going to a casino will do it for you.

How do you normally do for awaygames? Me and me friends usually get together at someones crib, bringing food and drinks so the host dont have to cook.

I'm thinking you guys have never been to a casino before - that's pretty standard procedure right there for cash advances.

That is what I was thinking... of course casinos usually have regular ATMs in them too, I find it hard to believe that Aces doesn't have one anywhere on site.

I have never in my life been charged a % while taking money out of an ATM at a casino.
SOP is $5 flat, regardless of withdrawal. Furthermore, I sure as hell have never been given a slip from the ATM that directs me up to the cashier counter.
    That is F'd up.

But if you go for a cash advance on your credit card, rather than an ATM withdrawal, then that *IS* what you are asked to do.

I'd be in, sounds like a great time.
The bears game on 12/28, I probably wouldn't be able to make it too though. Either the 12/6 at arizona or the 12/20 game at carolina would work. Arizona game would probably be my first choice(3:15).

Pretty sure this guy is talking about his debit card, not a credit card.

"if i would have paid the $30 entry fee thru my debit card it would have cost me $14!" That is about 46% per transaction fee.

Ive never been to a casino in the US, so youre probably right Zeus... But ive been a casino manager in Sweden, and visited casinos around europe and asia and never ever have Ive been charged anything at the cashier withdrawing any money from a creditcard or a debitcard. I find it obnoxious for casinos charging people for withdrawing money which they will soon loose anyways.

But as they say: Cash is king

They have a private screening room for watching Vikings games....includes massaging leather chairs, live internet/computers hooked up for fantasy/forums checking...

They offered to help setup a private PPO party at the club.
We could all catch some cards or blackjack out in the room, or they could get us a private blackjack table too.

Cater in some grub, or take advantage of their $1 dog and Miller beer specials all game long.

We can follow that up with some coverage on Sports Final as they tape during and after the games...maybe gets a few of youse ugly mugs on the TV too.

If there is sufficient interest for maybe a game in December, we will get it set up.
