Attention Vikings Fans From The Duluth Area

Former Minnesota Vikings players Ted Brown, Oscar Reed and Rufus Bess will make appearances at the Hermantown Wal-Mart to sign memorabilia and raise funds for local non-profit organizations including Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

I've had the priveledge of meeting all three of them at training camp right here in kato. Oscar Reed is a really good guy, i've gone with him and former vikings CB Earsall Mackbee to training camp the past two years and going again with him this year (his NFC championship ring is Ãƒâ€*Ã¢â‚¬â„¢uckin huge too lol, i've worn it)

That is why it sucks being a Viking fan and not living in Minnesota, if a football player comes to give out autographs in my area it is either a 49'r or a Raider,

Woot!, Hermantown/Duluth is only 40 some miles from where i live.(might sound like alot but not really when you live way up here :lol: )

heh.. I grew up in the woods of duluth (passed woodland up jean-duluth)

warp's right.. that's a small distance to jaunt to see some old vikes!!

as now i'd have to take a 16 hour flight to do the same..

and oakmage... at least u get to WATCH nfl games!!!

We had Ben Watson TE Patriots, and our very own Morten Andersen K (hopefully soon Falcons), here last week in some charity/ghetto event. Along with some NBA dude.

One good thing about where I live is the fact that our High Schools mascote is the Vikings.

40 miles that a hop skip and a jump where I live, of course where I live any Vikings were going to show up even 500 miles away I would go see them.

The only NFL players who ever come here are Torry and Terrence holt because they are really into NC state university and contribute a lot with celebrity bowling and stuff. And the Jimmy V golf classic once a year but you only get to meet famous people if you're rich, in the game, or get lucky and happen to be sitting in the hotel lobby that MJ is staying in like me.
