I'm not sure Brinkley is a three down linebacker, even when healthy.
Why do the Vikings expect a player to do something they haven't been able to do in the past?
Too bad first down has become as much of a passing down as running down. That in itself could make Brinkley a liability.
    Maybe Everson will work out!

How can you say whether Brinkley will be a liability or not. He was a late-round pick who got forced to start early on, and played pretty weell. He can only improve.
