Ask Cris Carter: Full of Options

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=An5eN7Uki_k1p08eZw_MJs1DubYF?slug=cc-askcris122607&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

"After watching the Sunday night Minnesota Vikings-Washington Redskins game, it is obvious to me that the only things missing from the Vikings game are a big-play receiver and an experienced quarterback. … With Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss both free agents at the end of this season, is it implausible that the Vikes management could swallow its pride and bring back two known quantities?"

    Ed Borden
    Philadelphia

"I don't think it would happen in either case, but it's probably a lot easier for Daunte to go back. He's at a point that he's looking to go anywhere that he can become the starter. He still has a fan base there and they have some nice pieces on offense with the line and the running game. "

"As for Randy, why would he go back? We'll see what happens with his contract, but he likes New England, they're winning, and he's playing the best football of his career. If it's up to him, I don't see him leaving the Patriots."

    HE DOES!!!!

I would rather have T-Jack than Daunte... purely for personality reason... as in I can't stand Daunte's.

As for Moss... pretty sure he's happy right where he is.

He's 180 degrees wrong. If anyone of the two were to come back it would be Moss after the way Childress dumped Culpepper.
But I would bet neither of them would be back.
Where do people come up with this junk?

    Interesting question.
Obviously The chances of either coming back is ridiculously low, but if both wanted back, would you take them back?

    Moss yes.
    Culpepper, no.

Moss is still one of the best receivers in the NFL.
He can still make QB's look better than they are,
He still give Defensive Coordinators fits.

    Culpepper still...well....sucks.

    That about sums it up.

Carter knows Moss personally. He might know something to the effect that Moss hates the Vikings now and is never coming back. If true, that sucks, as that is something I'd like to see.

I agree that Culpepper isn't coming back as a starter. As a benchwarming backup who hopefully never sets foot again on the field of play, maybe.

    Go Vikings!

I'd give em both a shot.
Moss for sure, and Daunte would be welcomed back in my eyes with a small contract.
