Thread: Army connection

Hey Viking Spirit, what is the Army connection? You or your dad in the service? Looks like Bobby Ross will breathe some life into their dormant football program. There was an awesome story in SI (Sept. 13, 2004) that really made it look like he could turn them around.

There's not really a connection, I just want to go into the service, and the Academy's the path I want to take.

I read that article in SI, I'm really hoping that he can bring some life to the team. Last year was horrible.........and we've been spanked by Navy 2 years in a row. It looks like the team has already improved under Ross, and that improvment should continue as the season progresses. Hopefully it all will come together for the Navy game.

I have no connection either, but I would like Army to beat Navy, especially to give our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan something to cheer about. Those guys and gals are the ones putting it on the line so that we can sit here and post messages in a free country. GO TROOPS!!!
