    ouch !

always amazes me that he survives past Halloween, plus with some of the costumes that the Raider nation wears would scare a lot of people to death
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Another similarity Randy Moss isnt catching passes for either team.
    Zing!

I think with one or two more acquisitions, our pass D can really be up there. Our Offense on the other hand.... well thats a different question.
But, one habit we absolutely CAN NOT do is to not continually tweak even the best parts of our team (i.e. rush defense), because that is how they can fall back into mediocrity, or worse, over the years.

Anyone notice similarities between us and the Raiders?

    Yes.
Both teams play in the NFL.

    That's about it.

Welcome ppg, yeah, I was looking at that same stat.
I get nervous when Grandpa Al's team is mentioned in the same breath as the Vikings.
I agree though, the stat-heads are feverishly crunching numbers trying to figure out why their models don't work.
Every week there are more bizarre things that happen.
It will be refreshing when the O can play a game when they consistently only need a few points to win....and don't do it.
At least we don't have Grandpa Al sitting around taking up space.
I bet Art has to empty his bed pan.

I have a strange feeling this is going to turn into a Moss thread...

Art Shell is a hall of fame offensive lineman, and Brad Childress has a mustache.

    On a serious note:
Al Davis likes to spend money so does Zygi Wilf and each spend it in general foolishly.

Didn't mean to turn it into a Moss thread.
I was just happy that when I was looking at the stats I didn't see a big pit of despair before us, unlike the Raiders...

Well they see a big pit, just of a different sort!"RK." wrote:

No no...don't worry about it. Things just have a tendency to turn towards Moss whenever the subject of the Raiders, 1998 or anything to do with afros or traffic cops comes up.
    :P

It was more of a joke than anything.
