Is anyone else worried about the WRs
Ill start this off by saying Percy Harvin is great for a rookie and big things are in his future, V Shanc seems to be a threat also, but the rest of the WRs seem to be missing in action. I dont believe BB has earned his paycheck since he signed and frankly is a flat out disappointment, S Rice seems to be a good downfield blocker for PH and AD but heck be apart of the threat also...in order for theVikings to go tothat next level the WRs must step up and be accounted for

Re: Is anyone else worried about the WRs
I noticed some good signs of improvement this past week, and expect even more this week.
The longer Brett is tossing the pig skin and our recievers stay healthy, things will only continue to click and improve.
We haven't seen nothing yet, I'm sure of that.....Best is yet to come !

According to the paychecks last year only a few WRs made more than BB

RMoss, TO
and Fitzgerald

Heck he made more than AD last year and 7 TDs is enuff? I mean he is a top paid guy, 7 TDs doesnt seem awe inspiring...I dont think when he re-signs with whatever team it wont be as a top 5 WR
Now I think AD will be... heck PH will be worth a lot
But BB I dont think so

Ultra summed it up.
Rice is catching anything thrown at him.
Berrian also nabbed what was thrown to him last game.
Shank lookin good.
Harvin is impressing.
We have two young receivers in development in Reynaud and Johnson...

I believe AD is on his first contract.
There is a world of difference.
We needed a WR and a good one.
So we had to up the $$$ to get him to come here.
It's not like we tossed a buttload of TD's last year as well.

Was it turf toe?
I think it was, and if so, thats a bitch to deal with.
This year, he's started off with a hammy pull or strain.
That in itself can take some time to get to 100% again.
When healthy, BB is one of the best at doing what he does best, thats stretch the field and catch the dam ball, both he is fine at......
Also again,
Brett is just starting to click with all the WR's, and TE,
we will be only getting stronger in the passing game, as the year goes on....

Last time I checked BB had the highest average yards per catch last year if my memory serves me correctly. As far as I'm concerned he's done everything he's been asked to do...including adjusting to twenty five different quarterbacks. No problems on my end with him.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

Re: Is anyone else worried about the WRs
Yea I understand It is in the confines of the system, but BB has never impressed me. Now after only 2 games
has, I just think BB needs to step it up, and Im aware of the injury, I just see how the other stars on this team overperform in relation to there pay I think BB under performs in relation to his payPercy
But at the same time I understand it is within the confines of a system. point taken
