Thread: Anyone else think he's gone?

Nope, this has something to do with his contract requirements. I just can't help but think that his agent, thus Percy, wants to be paid top dollar. At least in the top 3 WR range and this staff isn't going to pay it.
All the huff and tuff between Percy and Leslie, IMHO is mostly related to Percy feeling Leslie doesn't have his back in that regard.
In the end, I'd play him next year on his contract and see what happens. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Not unless they are a team that thinks they are one WR away next year.
if Ricky Boy can create a false demand for him like he did in the draft last year......Spark of Genius. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I expect the pats to get us on the phone and let Welker go and trade for Harvin. He will lead the league in every category possible with Brady throwing to him.

Give him whatever he wants. He is the most exciting player in the league to watch. I would be extremely disappointed if we let him loose or traded him for anything less than a top 10 pick in the draft but I highly doubt that would happen.

We have to keep him, if at all possible. He's a very talented wide receiver on a team with...well, him. Unless we find a way to make AD play running back and receiver, Harvin is what we have.

I am sorry ... he is simply too talented. There is NO WAY in hell he is gone after this season.
And past that I think it is very unlikely that he is gone the following season because we will tag his ass at least once if we have too.
Everyone knows that this guy is a legit Top 10 non-QB offensive talent in this league. There is no way you get value for that ... and after the Moss debacle that still echos in our halls ... I can't see ownership allowing him to get away.

If Harvin couldn't get along with Childress and Harvin can't get along with Frazier, he'll probably be a pain in the ass forever. Only the Vikings know if Harvin would've been done for the season because of his attitude no matter what.
The Vikings will do the right thing because we all know the Wilf's aren't cheap or anything when it comes to players. If he's good for the team, he'll get a fair offer. If he's bad for the team, he'll be traded while we can trade him.
My gut feeling is he's gone.Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

I believe the Vikings pay Harvin for his services. I see Percy getting a contract that is not going to break the bank but with also make Percy happy with the up front money.
I am not sure where we sit next season with Funds but I do know that we will save alot of money since KWill's contract will be up at the end of this year. I dont see us resigning him because I believe a team will pay him more, but I do hope he takes a big paycut and resigns here to end his career.
The team don't pay Percy enough at the moment to worry about him holding out, so yes the Vikings hold the cards at the moment. If we do trade him then we will get a nice return, Percy was a 1st round pick. He has also shown the league his value which is more then what we initially invested in him.

Seeing KWill play elsewhere will be a sad sight for me.
