I think he was pretty happy with the production he was getting. As I pointed out in another thread, when he was healthy he was atop the leader board in receptions and Ponder was looking like the second coming when it came to stats.
Nope, this has something to do with his contract requirements. I just can't help but think that his agent, thus Percy, wants to be paid top dollar. At least in the top 3 WR range and this staff isn't going to pay it.
All the huff and tuff between Percy and Leslie, IMHO is mostly related to Percy feeling Leslie doesn't have his back in that regard.
In the end, I'd play him next year on his contract and see what happens.
