Anybody know Who was the 12th man???

Anyone hear anything about who managed to pull that off???? It's really unbelievable to me that we managed to do that, but at the same time, it's the Vikings.....

Un-freaking-believable. But at the same time very believable, lol.

I think they put WD40 on the football when the vikes were on offense. It's the logical assumption

Of course, Childress didn't give out any names. He's not going to throw a player under the bus like that.

He did say this in his press conference, though. "We had a full back in there and we changed the play up." Or something really close to that.

With the scrutiny Tahi is under here, already....

Could be Dugan or Kleinsasser, as well, of course.

    Well, it was Tahi.

Childress says Tahi was twelfth man

    By Gregg Rosenthal

"We just had a fullback in there and we changed up and broke the huddle with 12," coach Brad Childress said. "You can't call back-to-back timeouts either. I thought we slipped up there."

The fullback was Naufahu Tahi, according to Yahoo's Mike Silver. But we hope Childress isn't trying to redirect blame to a player, because that is a brutal mistake in a huge spot.

Tahi saved the Vikings by recovering that fumble that squirted out 15 yds behind our line. I thought he earned his years salary on that one play. Sucks that he took us out of field goal range in the huddle.

Like the article states, though, you can't put all of the blame on him, anyway. Usually, quite a few things have to go wrong to get something like this called. Bad communication, disagreeing coaches etc. etc. Maybe the crowd noise even factored in, you never know.

Like you said, Tahi played a solid game. He's no game changed, but he's no slouch, either. He did a great job on that fumble recovery.

Fullback Tahi might have been the 12th man in the huddle, but he can not be blamed for the loss. He did a great job in the blocking game.
