Re: Any chance Dante returning???
I think the only Dante returning will be Dante Hall returning kicks for the Vikings after he's released in June.
Atleast, I hope he's returning kicks for the Vikings.

Thanks for the sig PurplePeopleEaters

Daunte made his decision last year.....he gave the finger to the organization and the fans.
He has nothing else to offer that the Vikes would be interested in.
Hey, Daute....here is the FINGER right back at you!!I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Re: Any chance Dante returning???
While, I can't possibly see Childress going for this, considering he seems to be the type of guy that holds grudges.
If this were to happen, I'd welcome him back.
Of course, he likely wouldn't be the same Culpepper from before, but you have to admit, it was nice seeing the QB flatten LB's and his deep ball was pretty impressive.
I can understand a lot of people not wanting to see him come back, based on the circumstances under which he left, and the poor start to his 2005 season.
But, I can't quite understand those of you who are ready to hang your hats on TJ as the starter.
He's unproven, untested, and he really hasn't had anybody to learn from.
He may have great potential, but I seriously doubt he's capable of leading us to the playoffs this year, or probably even next year.
If TJ is the starter, I hope I'm wrong.

What part of your asshole did you pull that out of?

If he was even a sliver of the Culpepper he was before he wouldn't be in danger of getting cut.
It isn't about holding grudges.
It is about not wanting to bring in a player who a) can't play the game anymore and b) would be a known critic of the Head Coach in the locker room.
I think it is too bad that he was too stubborn and selfish to rehab under the supervision of the Vikings.
