Another season stopped short....
Well looking into this year I think we all thought that we were definantly able to win 10-12 games at least. Losing Jimmy and Randy for a while hurt alot...I still find it hard to believe that after starting 5-1 we collapsed once again. I think this season is a bit more disappointing for me then in 2003. Just the way we ended it losing 4 of the last 5 and backing into the playoffs rather then get heartbroken againest the cards...We all can only hope we do something to improve the D once again and look for Daunte to get his roll on next season. Good Luck eagles and lets all have a good offseason.

I will take a playoff season, over a heartbreaking last second TD that keeps us out of the playoffs after we led our division the ENTIRE year (except for one play) any day of the week. This year was kind of a stepping stone. Hopefully next year we will stay healthier and more consistent on offense and our D will step up and do some things!

Another season stopped short....
I think that it is time to put the last stone in place and step into the Super Bowl... I think a lot of fans are tired of an owner that won't use the cap available to him to fill the holes and build a winning team. If it happens again this year I think a lot of Vikes fans are going to be really unhappy. Maybe we should organize a boycott. This year was kind of a stepping stone.

The playoff win in Green Bay made this season a little easier to digest, even going 9-9 overall. At least we made the playoffs. The Vikes will be a better team for it next season.

I agree, I am really frustrated with McCombs. Things were really promising with him at first, but man have they gone South in a hurry. He's got to use the available money if he wants to win, I don't understand why he doesn't realize that. We don't have a gm, he pays our coaches very little and then he still doesn't use the all of the cap! He has turned out to be a horrible owner, hell I'm surprised he signed Daunte and Moss to such big deals!

We can't forget that if McCombs didn't do some creative things with Winfield's signing bonus the team would have been UNDER the minimum salary cap for the NFL. McCombs has GOT TO GO. He has turned from a decent owner, wanting to win, to a greedy old "Mr. Potter".
