Take Belicheck. His defense has not always had the most talent, especially early in their dynasty. He still made it work with new guys like Samuel, ***, Wilson, etc...when Poole and Law were out. Thats what makes the difference between a coach and a good coach.

Lets face it. Childress has failed to make the necessary changes to succeed at this level.

He should step down to save himself, the city, and his players the embarassment.

I never liked Marcus Robinson so the fact that Childress cut him doesn't matter at all to me. He's probably doing Marcus a favor by not mentioning it because somebody may pick him up not knowing what he did to deserve being cut. I would agree he has been our best WR this year but that is like bragging you're the smartest in pre school we can find somebody else.

Well, before I didn't think anything could have warranted a release on Christmas Eve and I still don't but I think the main reason was due in part because A. Marcus is in his 10th year B. He's always hurt and that hurts our Offensive production. C. I think that Childress wanted to see what the younger guys could do (I.e: Carter, Nance) I'm really looking forward to seeing both of them play, I really like what's being said about Nance.

I don't think Childress has done a awful job in his first year, after all it is his first year and the only thing I wish he would have done was open up the play calling more or handed it over and really cut the penalties down, I really think he had our team ready to play and did a good job game planning. I'll give him another year, if nothing improves I'll join in on calling for his head but it's too early.

I am going to have to disagree with you on Moss making Daunte look good, IMO they made each other look great.
