Re: Analysis, Vikings Running Game vs. Atlanta week one
One thing that looks good to me is the fact that the right side of our O, must have performed well enough not only to see the action they did, but they out did the left side of the line in some stats...
Now thats a good thing to me... ;D

Re: Analysis, Vikings Running Game vs. Atlanta week one
What a great breakdown my friend.
Were are all the naysayers and scoffers of the right sides abilities? Were are the guys who said that these guys were to big and slow (Behemouths) to execute this blocking scheme?
I, as promised, will hold my tounge (fingers) until week 4.
However, coma, Crowburgers are marinating very nicely
my friends.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

An awesome breakdown.
When they put 8 in the box, RUN ANYWAYS!
For this offense to work at all, we must run, run, run the ball.

I put up a post in the post game thread nobody responded to. Part of what was in that long boring post, was the fact that ,prior to the long pass overthrow to Troy Williamson in the second half, Atlantas defense had 8 men on the line of scrimmage and 2 backs within 3 to 5 yards of the line of scrimmage with one guy back in the center about 15 yds.An awesome breakdown.

That's 10 in the box.
And we ran anyway.
Our line has come of age.The run is hard to stop. Look out when the passing game gets rolling. And it will because of the line and the running game.
No sacks game one.
Defense is better than last year.
Maybe this team falls flat. I think it just gets better and better with time and experience.
How do you defense our run with that balanced attack?“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Thanks for finding and sharing this!!!
Can't believe I was out for almost 8 weeks after hip surgery, spent the entire day surfing and studying for fantasy football and never found this site.
Great info and an encouraging breakdown for us fans.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know
