What is your obsession with painkillers? No, you're not hilarious. Harvin was criticizing Childress before Moss arrived and Moss arrived with a great attitude.......but CHILDRESS killed that great attitude. This actually has me worried about Harvin. Him spending all that time with Moss rubbed off on him, and I can see him getting a Mossitude (attitude+moss I know I'm hilarious) and that cockiness that can turn a player into an asshole.
Harvin hurt his ankle badly and they shot him full of painkiller and sent him back out there.
That was stupid.....that's how careers are ended.
Harvin is slower now.....good luck with that, Percy.
Even if they do inject guys on the sidelines, which I'm not sure they're allowed to do, they're not giving guys narcotics. They're probably strong NSAIDs. The guy still feels the pain, it just doesn't hurt as much, they're aware of it, they're not numbed, not high.
Harvin said that adrenaline got him through the game. Guys play through injuries all the time. If Harvin had an injury that effected the structure of his ankle in any significant way he wouldn't have been able to perform the way he did after the injury.

Re: AM I CRAZY OR...
Of course.....he HAS to say some bullshit like that and he no doubt thought that people would wonder about his MIRACULOUS recovery.Harvin said that adrenaline got him through the game.
Painkiller got him through the game.
Pain is a message. It tells you to stop.
When they kill the pain it often mean more serious damage is done. That's exactly what they did to Harvin after they practically had to carry him off the field.
How much damage was done?
We shall see. Has he lost a step? Sunday will tell. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Remember when the guy stripped him?Harvin had an injury that effected the structure of his ankle in any significant way he wouldn't have been able to perform the way he did after the injury.
Percy got up and gave chase.
Normally he would have caught the guy in ten yards.
What happened?
The guy was actually pulling away when Harvin was taken out of the play.

Re: AM I CRAZY OR...
I am not sure that harvin has such a weak character that he would just become a randy moss clone in a month. I mean sure if you read into the comment that he learned a lot, it sounds bad. But I think that he meant in terms of how to play the game maybe?
I mean Harvin pretty much criticized Childress in the press and then childress yells at him for slacking off while practicing injured? Either Harvin is faking it or Childress is letting this game become way to personal to him is what it looks like to me.None

Childress knows he's going to be fired and he's taking it out on the players.....most of which--hate his guts.
