this is what he did
Carson pleaded guilty in June to lesser charges of trespassing and unlawful imprisonment in Mobile, Ala., and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He had been charged in August 2003 with kidnapping and burglary in the case involving a break-in at the home of his ex-girlfriend's sister.
Carson served eight days in jail in June before his release.
The Alabama circuit judge granted the release, which allowed Carson to resume offseason workouts with the Cowboys. He has the authority to send Carson back to jail for the remaining 22 days. Carson's attorney, John Brutkiewicz, told The Dallas Morning News in July that wouldn't happen until after the season, if at all. Here s the most important thing: You can NEVER lose your sense of humor. Unlike Quincy Carter, (or for that matter Onterrio Smith and Mixon for you guys), this trangression didnt come on Parcells clock
As I mentioned in another thread, kinda hypocritical Smith doesnt get suspended for the Opener for his 3rd positive test (hence the 4 game suspension) but Carson gets his the 1st game
success breeds contempt
