I noticed the site 2 nights ago.
It is a lot better than it was.
I think they got rid of the Atomic Playpen crap.
I don't see their name anywhere.
The other site wasn't user friendly, JMHO.
I agree, they have done a much better job.
Snow - I don't know if they retained Atomic Playpen.
I didn't see a request for bid go out (or you can bet that my company would have bid, lol) but given how much better the site is performing, I tend to think that they went another direction.
Finally a decent website. Sites built almost entirely in flash are terrible most of the time, like the previous one.
looks pretty sharp to me.
It looks good, but is it functional? Only time will tell.

I guess they didn't like their remake, which if I remember right was not that long ago, becaused i remeber posting the change, it couldn't of been more than a year ago.Quote:

Heyyyy the videos work on my comp now. Pretty pumped about that.
This is a much needed launch of a new look to the site. The old one sucked donkey balls.
Finally there is a possibility to get RSS feeds for the items on the site too. I have been cursing prior for the lack of this.
From the e-mail I received.....
Vikings Launch The All-New vikings.com
In an effort to provide fans with an improved online experience, the Minnesota Vikings have re-launched the team's web site, www.vikings.com, becoming the 9th club to join a new web platform initiated by the National Football League.
The more structured site will make it easier for viewers to consume media of all types, including, but not limited to, videos and news. Fans will continue to be able to stream live video of Head Coach Brad Childress' press conferences and other important team functions. The streamlined vikings.com features a robust photo gallery function, a fan-friendly event calendar that highlights all team-related happenings in the community, as well as links to the Vikings Facebook and Twitter pages. The most noticeable improvement to the user experience, however, will be the overall speed of the site and the volume of exclusive Vikings content.
